Northwest Railroad Foundry and Supply began when a cross-buck signal
was made as a birthday present for a friend. What Bill did not know was that there
would be fifty of his closest friends at the party, all of whom decided they wanted a
signal too! The word spread, and they soon found themsevles in business.
Plum Cove Studios
Manufacturers of 7.25&7.50 gauge rolling stock and locomotives. Especially
popular are the "Generic Electric" locomotives ($1699/kit), "Phinneas T. Phlatt" flat
car ($595/kit), and the "Whreephur D. Phridge" reefer car ($695/kit). Plum Cove's
"Arch Bar" trucks ($350) are popularwith close to 500 pairs in service since 1999.
