The Home Railway Journal welcomes all types of articles.

Articles can be sent to matt@homerailwayjournal.com or to our mailing address.

If you are timid because of your writing abilities - DON'T BE. Our staff writers will take your comments and turn them into an article. Also, if you think an article is not interesting, you are probably wrong. We all learn from each other no matter how basic a topic is.

We also welcome letters to the editor on any topic you can think of. We love to put in pictures and announcements of your railroad's new track or trains.

For articles, we ask that pictures come from a four megapixel camera or better. (If yours is less, e-mail us and we'll tell you if your camera will work or not.) Color and B/W prints are also acceptable. All we ask is that any pictures you send, you hold the copyright or publishing rights to. (If you take the picture, you own the copyright.)

We feel that if you put your time to write an article, you should get something in return when it is printed. That's why we will give you a one-year subscription or extend your current subscription by one year if we print your article. Unfortunately at this time, we cannot pay for articles but hope you'll help out your fellow home railroader for the subscription offer.
